For those of you who would like to know more about me, I've prepared a brief biographical synopsis of my life's journey. 

I am the younger of two sons, born to Ed and Barb Novick who currently live in Midlothian, IL. My brother Ed, his wife Tina, and their children Cody and Tess, live in Aurora, IL. I grew up in Midlothian, IL, attending St. Christopher Church and School. I graduated from Marist High School, Chicago, IL in 1985, and went on to receive a B.A. in Mathematics from Lewis University, Romeoville, IL  in 1990.

After working for four months out of state (Detroit, MI), I followed my heart home to the Chicagoland area.

About four years later, I decided to follow my heart again. I had been getting more involved at the parish level at St Christopher, both administratively and pastorally. My life was good, but I was not complete.

My family was invited to the 1994 Chicago Priesthood Ordination and I was moved deeply. It took me a year or so to understand that I was being called to the life of a priest.

I entered Mundelein Seminary in September of 1996, and now am a mere five months away from priestly ministry. What a ride! I'm looking forward to my new parish assignment, so keep me in your prayers. God bless and thanks for visiting.
